Healthy UBC Initiatives are free ongoing university-wide programs, trainings and educational opportunities that focus on promoting positive mental health and physical wellbeing for staff, faculty and departments.

Creating and sustaining this type of environment involves building awareness, encouraging healthy behaviours and engagement in positive social communities to support overall health.

Our initiatives are designed to increase individual skills and resiliency, as well as to facilitate organizational change to better enable departments, units and campus communities to develop and maintain healthy workplaces, as part of the University’s Focus on People strategic plan.
